florescence is an attempt at emulating and practicing the fragility of nature, through the abstraction of blooming flowers. repetitive organic shapes are spontaneously carved into pure white paper; the hand, knife and surface as man, machine and nature. as the lines slowly lose their form towards the top of the surface, they wait for an unwritten path of growth and transformation. suspended in space, the delicate material encourages audiences to pay careful attention to their movements as they walk around it.
